2026 ANZIBA Doctoral (PhD) Conference Stipends

The Executive Board of ANZIBA is pleased offer a limited number of stipends to help doctoral students attend the ANZIBA & AIB-Oceania Collaborative Event in Melbourne in November 2026. These stipends are funded by ANZIBA Membership fees and are intended to support active members of the ANZIBA PhD Community.

There are up to SIX stipends available.

To qualify, applicants must:

1. Be enrolled as a full-time PhD student in Australia or New Zealand.
2. Be a registered student member of ANZIBA.
3. Be an active member of the ANZIBA PhD Community, with up-to-date fees.
4. Register to the conference and participate in the pre-conference Doctoral Colloquium.
5. Commit to volunteer for at least 10 hours during the event with various logistical tasks.
6. Attend the ANZIBA Annual General Meeting at the event.
7. Actively post on social media, tagging ANZIBA where appropriate, during and after the event to promote ANZIBA and the annual event.
8. Send a photo of yourself from the event and a brief reflection of your experience to: vp_marketing@anziba.org within a month of the event, for inclusion in future ANZIBA Newsletters.

The stipend will be awarded by ANZIBA as follows:

• A refund of the conference registration fee will be awarded as an expense reimbursement for attending the conference.
