Early Career Scholars Day (ECS Day)
Led by: Dr Pavlina Jasovska, University of Technology Sydney, Australia
The Early Career Scholars Day (ECS Day) is aimed at early career academics (up to eight years after earning a PhD and holding an academic position) who want to learn more about developing a successful and well-balanced academic career. Preliminary themes include balancing research, teaching and service/citizenship, engaging in collaborations, establishing and pursuing a rewarding research programme, and seeking well-being and avoiding ill-being in academia. The consortium will provide an opportunity to network with peers and learn from experienced and highly successful academics.
How to apply:
Submit a one-pager summarising:
-
your resume, including your PhD details, current position, research interests, courses you teach, and any academic service roles you hold;
-
3 to 5 questions you have about your career or about academia more broadly;
-
a statement confirming that you are (or will become by the registration date at the latest) a member of both ANZIBA and AIB.
